Criccieth Lifeboat, pictured below, is an Atlantic 75 - fastest boat on the RNLI fleet - capable of 32knots for a sustained duration of approximately three hours. With her crew of three or four local volunteers, she is launched on service some thirty times each year (and she goes out on exercise roughly bi-weekly besides).
